Hello,

Yesterday I cleaned my computer with compressed air in a can. Don't know if I went a little too close? Anyways, today I turned on my computer and the components started spinning but my monitor just said "800*600@60hz" (which is not my normal resolution) and the screen was just black. I tried rebooting and a quick Asrock logo appeared but then disappeard.

I have no idea what happend. Please help :(

check all your cables

reseat your ram

try without the gpu...use the onboard for now....

try with only 1 stick of ram

reset your bios

all else fails..try an external build

If you need remote help fixing something on your computer

I can help over Teamviewer if you wish

Techguru: But everything worked fine before i cleaned it. I didn't unplug anything i just sprayed around a little.

When I got to close it was kinda like a liquid that vaporized very quickly but that's the reason I waited a day to turn it on.

Do you guys think that the compressed air could've destroyed something??

Well that would be impossible to know. Why not humor us and do the test procedure like @techguru proposed?
