I'm planning on buying a speaker but really having a hard time deciding what to buy. I was leaning on the Audio engine but it takes a lot of space. Do you guys have a suggestion? I'm looking for excellent sound quality for the price it's worth.

You could get the Audioengine A2+.  Those are pretty small in comparison.

Are they good compared to the A5 tho?

If space is a problem, then go with satellites system speakers. 1 sub + a few satellites (depending on 2.1 or 5.1 you gonna get). The downside, the satellites usually lacking in the low-mid frequencies, due to the small drivers. It's a trade off.

Like here is the setup that I have. As you can see, there isn't much space but If I remove my tower and put it down under the table, I could gain more space. I could buy an A5+ but as reviewers stated, there a special arranegment (distance between each speakers, and etc) to make for the speakers sound better.

You want to be able to form an equilateral triangle between the speakers and your head, and angle them towards you.

That said, if you don't have the room, you don't have the room.

Wow that is literally no room at all.  Don't think you should bother with the bookshelf-esque style of speaker than.  You could try to buy an A2+ or a Kanto YU2 and attempt to fit it on your desk, obviously its not going to fit in the optimum position, but you could try.  Even if you remove the tower, I doubt you'll have enough space for an optimum placement of the A5+.  Even my placement personally is wonky, its more of a wide isosceles than equilateral.

Yeah, you don't have room for full-sized bookshelf speakers.  You might be able to get the A2's to fit, though.

As for getting the speakers to sound their best, it's all about setting them up like ShearMe said.  The angle isn't all that important, as long as they're angled approximately the same, and placed at the same distance, pointed towards your ears.

Personally I find Bose highly overpriced for the sound you get. They have nice build quality, sure, and they usually have plenty (too much) bass, but this is a general problem with 2.1 "multimedia speaker" systems in general. Many people like this though.

Compared to something like Bose, I'd probably just go with a good Creative Labs or Logitech speaker set. It'll give you pretty much as good/bad sound for a much lower price. Those two options would at least give great sound for the price, where as the Bose sets I've seen/tried costs as much as a cheap dedicated amplifier + speaker combo, which will almost always sound better. Bose have been great at marketing their products, so they are the "in" thing to have. They are generally not good for the price though.

Bose is one of those brands whose products seem amazing if you've never owned anything else because they're not BAD.

I have the Audioengine A5+ right in front of me, and I have listened to the A2+ for a pretty long time too. The sound is actually very comparable between the two. The main difference is that you shouldn't expect the A2+ to fill a big room, which is why I got the A5+... The room I'm in has a dog leg, and the main section of it is ~30'x20' so I needed something with big sound. The bass and treble is awesome on the A2+, and the driver moves much more on them than the A5+, so it's exciting to watch! Plus, there isn't really anything in the size of the A2+ that sounds as good (ESPECIALLY if you are looking at the white ones... which I was) The A2+ are WELL worth the asking price. If you know how big normal desktop monitors are (like the size of the A5+) the A2+ are roughly 1/4 the size. they are TINY!!! From your picture, I don't think that they would even interfere with your monitor, if you stood them straight up. You have plenty of room for them!

Also, the A2+ has a very full sound all by itself (just don't expect much in the sub-bass area...) but they sound great!
