Help with controlling fan speeds please

Paulisnowon

Hello,

My motherboard in a an MSI Z87-G43 and it is in a Corsair 200r case, I have 5 fans.

Below is where I connected the fans:

Evo 212 fan - CPU Fan 1

Front - Sys Fan 3

Rear - Sys Fan 1

Bottom - Sys Fan 2

Top - CPU Fan 2

Only the CPU Fan 1 is 4 pin.

How can i control all of the speeds of the fans? As I would like it to be super quite when not under load, but it appears that all the fans apart from the CPU 1 run at full speed all the time. Or is it not possible?

I am a newbie to this sort of stuff so any help would be appreciated,

thankyou!

You can simply do that by entering your BIOS. There are options to control the voltage of each fan port.

The CPU fan gets already controlled by your motherboard, which you shouldn't change, as the speed depends on the temperature.

You should be able to use MSI Command Center for that. Or try out Speedfan. Those are the only options if you don't want to get fan hub like NZXT Grid+.
