ICS not working

I'm trying to use ics to connect me and my friends computer and we're having trouble. I see the connection but it's limited. we've tried a lot but nothing has worked. we are also running different versions of windows so is that the reason? just need to get it working

This is a warning log that occurred after every try: 

 

The ICS_IPV6 was unable to allocate bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error.

 

Occasionally there is an error log immediately after the warning:

To enable the DHCP allocator on this IP address, change the scope to include the IP address, or change the IP address to fall within the scope.

The ICS_IPV6 failed to configure IPv6 stack.
