9 Volt battery amperage

Hello, I need to supply a thing for like a sec, but it need's atleast 2 amps, can a 9 volt even deliver this?

Amperage = Voltage / Resistance.

 

Find out your resistance and fill in this equation and you will be all set!

Most 9v's seem to be about 500mAh, so it will supply the 2A's if your resistance is low enough that the 9v's can push it, but it wont last very long, like 15mins at most or something.
