Legal windows

Hello guys,

 

 

If you have a pirate version of windows 8, can you upgrade it to a legal windows version by reinstalling the OS and using a legal windows key which you legally bought? If so, will you then have any problems with upgrading to windows 10 in the future?

Yes, You can. ONLY by upgrading. :)

you can just get a key and activate it , no needs for re-instaling it

If you do a full reinstall with a legit key then you'll be fine.

Yeah, Windows AnyTime Upgrade will help you... or if push comes to shove create a image of your computer and reinstall the OS and then use that image. 

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.

You're right about no need, but it's strongly recommended as you can't really be sure what might have been done to the installer. 

 

OP: Just reinstall, use the legit key, and when Windows 10 comes around, you'll have the option to upgrade.

If you had a legit key surely that would have a disc for reinstalling? I would never use the pirate version for the main reason that sometimes they put a load of crap into the deepest parts of the is making it insecure an buggy
