strange 8.1 update

so i did a windows update and restart my pc and suddenly it says i need to activate it and i have a watermark "windows 8.1 build 9600" on my desktop

 

how do i solve this?

Same for me.You can't get rid of it.You have to live with it.

Might be a glitch, restarting mostly fixes it.
