Dashcam

Statik

Hey folks,

So I'm in the market for a dash cam. I'm most likely going to toss it in my current shitty car now, but I definitely want one when I get my truck late this summer (might just wait until then too). Does anyone have any recommendations for a dashcam? Any experiences ?I don't exactly know what I'm looking at/for.

I would like to keep it cheap as possible, but I don't want anything super shitty.

Any ideas?

The problem is, that ultra cheap ones are crappy, you can only get a decent one for above $100.

:/

You can always test your luck, but the reviews on Amazon point towards $60-100+ models.

This is the best I could find for the cheapest http://www.amazon.com/CDR-126-Original-Dashboard-Recorder-Detection/dp/B00SKS51L2/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1428640853&sr=8-9&keywords=dash+cams

Yeah, I'm not looking for a shitty one. I guess anywhere between $100-200 is what I'm looking for. I just don't want to be dropping $200-400+

This is a great dash cam and one of the best out there, but a Little over your budget. Not sure of any others i would recommended though as i only have experience with this one.

Hmm. That is quite expensive. Might have to consider it though.

Then this one seems to be your best bet. Although it does not have physical night vision, just increased ISO in the camera settings.

Here is a cheaper, yet still good one
