So I really need a laptop for uni now, and it's convenient for me to get an apple (even thought they are not worth the price) as all the computers at uni are apple and I cant be asses getting a headache every time I try transfer files. So I just wanted to know if the 11" air with 4gb ram and I5 will be enough to run adobe suit, it doesn't need the power to render large videos as I have my computer for that.

YES, i promise it is a reliable laptop, will last, and is good for working in a class environment. i use mine for almost every single class, 5 days a week.

Idk about adobe suit, but non gaming wise, it is one badass laptop, with a battery that lasts all day and then some, bulletproof build quality, and I dual booted mine so I have windows 8 on it: by far the smoothest dual install process I have ever seen using bootcamp, honestly things could not have gone smoother.

Your school should give you cheap windows OS, and dual boot was a breeze. Bootcamp integrates all apple specific drivers (multitouch touchpad, apple keyboard, USB headers, wifi module) right into the windows instalation process, and made it a great laptop for this price point. I doubt you will find anything with such robust build on the windows side. I would recomend getting this laptop, and dual booting if you have issues with adobe suit on mac OS.

I would honestly try spend a tiny bit more and get a 13" reinta pro, which is powerful enough for photoshop and premier

That said, the air CAN run them just fine, here is an example (old air too)

Desktop - Corsair 300r i7 4770k H100i MSI 780ti 16GB Vengeance Pro 2400mhz Crucial MX100 512gb Samsung Evo 250gb 2 TB WD Green, AOC Q2770PQU 1440p 27" monitor Laptop Clevo W110er - 11.6" 768p, i5 3230m, 650m GT 2gb, OCZ vertex 4 256gb,  4gb ram, Server: Fractal Define Mini, MSI Z78-G43, Intel G3220, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 4x 3tb WD Reds in Raid 10, Phone Oppo Reno 10x 256gb , Camera Sony A7iii
