Anyone use/used the Curse Client?

Hey guys/gals.

Was just wondering if anyone had used the Curse Client before and was wondering about your experience with it! (What you use it for, what games, etc!)

I only had one other question besides that and that is does it work as a VPN for say opening a lan world on minecraft? Would like to play on LAN without actually being on LAN.
