Upgrade Help

I am looking forward to the upcoming release of GTA 5 on PC. I have £500 to upgrade my system to make it as powerful as possible for the game.

 

Here are my specs:

 

i5 760 Quad Core @4.1Ghz

MSI P55-GD65

8GB XMS3 1600Mhz

HD5850 1GB

Corsair HX750

64GB SSD (Boot)

1TB Storage Drive

Win 7 64bit

HAF 932 Advanced

 

Any help would be great. Would a new GPU be most beneficial? If so what GPU?

A new GPU would probably be beneficial seeing that you already have a decent quad core....

For the best performance out of a game - get a new GPU (looks like you need a new one anyways). Might I suggest a GTX 970 or Radeon R9 290X?

Upgrade you graphics card for sure that cpu is still quite capable

so a new gpu is needed, i would say an r9 290 or a gtx 970, you could get a 980 but i think spending a bit on the CPU will be a better option  

 

edit: maybe upgrading to intel 4th gen

Looking at the following card:

On offer at £260 so that leaves me £240 for other upgrades in the future.
