HD 7970 Problem Loading

Go to solution Solved by ZainJ51,

Disable the onboard video in your BIOS, Unplug any video cables plugged into your motherboard and have them all plugged into the video card.

I fixed it thanks, it was the 8 pin connector was a little chipped

So i just got my 7970 and went ahead and installed it and launched up the computer, it loaded up and fans spinning and all so i went into Msi afterburner and it said Intel HD graphics so I went into my bios and disabled the onboard gpu and then save and resetted, I then switched the dvi cable to the graphics card and got a black screen and now even if i put it on my motherboard dvi slot it gives me a black screen.

I am putting it in a pcie x16 slot is that a problem?
