Sooo I just built my new (first) computer and I can't connect to the internet with my ethernet cable. I'm currently just using a wireless antenna and its working, but I'm not satisfied. I'm sure that I need to just install drivers, so if that's the case, could someone point me in the general direction please? But if this is a completely different diagnosis, then I'll just list specs and see what happens.

Motherboard: Asus Z97-A

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 (the one that Linus used in his value build)

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

GPU: GeForce GTX 650

Umm, I'll list any other specs if needed, but I think that these are the relevant ones.

Is the network card listed under network adapters?

You can check if drivers are needed in device manager.

I've seen some BIOSs that disable on-board network adapters if they detect another one plugged in, check in your BIOS that the wired Ethernet is enabled.
