Failed install on H110.

Hello guys. First topic here. So I was attempting to do my first install on my new build with the H110 liquid cooling unit. As I was getting ready to seat the cold plate on the CPU chip, I didn't get it quite lined up correctly the first time and I lifted back up and saw that thermal paste (pre-applied) is on the CPU chip. I know that it can create air bubbles and such but I'm wondering if I need to buy new thermal paste and reapply or if it's okay to leave it there and try again.

It should be fine for now , just check if the temps are ok ( load temps mainly ) . If they are really high you should change the goop .

as long as its spread well, you should be fine

Also check your temps with other people using the same chip,to make sure

I still got a few more weeks until I can complete my build. (Just a few more parts to order.) I'm just doing a little but at a time.

yeah, you'll be fine with that. double check for any hair in it though

just do it, but do some burn in tests to see if your temps are higher than other people on the internet

This is all new to me, as I'm excited to move on from consoles into the PC world.
