What am I doing wrong?

Huh, i'm really good at BF4 and i don't think i ever turned that off...

 

i guess i'm the least picky gamer of all time, i've never touched an FOV slider

I think it's less of a picky thing than no other game I can think of does that. It' needed for a controller, but a mouse, since oyu expect sliding it x to move x, this throws a lot of people off major.
