I used to have twc at my old place. I cancelled the service in the 20th of November due to the fact I was moving. The following Monday I take the modem and pay my final bill at the office at my old town. Early yesterday I received a call from a collections agency. It caught off guard since I'm on time with my bills. It was even more surprising when I found out it was for twc. The service was never cancelled on the 20th of November, and now I had another month of service, after I moved out.

I call twc and explain the situation to them. The representative tells me they have no notes I called to cancel my service on the 20th of November, but did show where I paid my bill at an office and returned the modem. Again I tell him I was moving and asked why I would turn the modem in and continue the service. He then explains to me that I have to provided proof that I did in fact move on the 20th. I am able to provide that. I ask for an email, he then tells me I can't email that information, and I'll have to go to an office. The closest on is a hour and a half away. I keep getting the same answer for everything on this call. That there's no notes I called, he can't access my account, he can't email me anything.

Has anyone else experienced this?
