you cant SSH in to linux (while running windows) unless you are running something like a OpenVZ host on your machine and running windows and linux at once.

i dont really want to run virtual, been reading and its not wat i want right now i don't think there is a simple way or even a way to do what i want but latter on for gaming running KVM in Linux for windows would be a nice try..what i wish that could be done is run linux and windows at the same time and use putty or something on windows to access Linux and for it to share the resources between the two and only reboot to each OS as needed ...........reading this sounds like a fairy tail..or is it?

Simply put: you can't. You can access the drive space if it's configured correctly, but you can't access a system that isn't running.

If you want to have a bit of fun, try XenClient, you can run your linux and windows systems concurrently and accomplish what you want. But in a dual boot situation, you can't ssh into the linux client from the windows client, since the linux client won't be running when you're using windows.
