Pic war!

Haven't seen a thread like this in a while, but here are the rules :D 

 

So, the very first person posting (that'd be me) posts a picture of some sort and declares a "pic war".  The next person to post has to "defend" against the op's picture by posting a somehow relevant picture which would trump the other.  They then "attack" with their own picture.

The next person to post has to defend against the newly posted "attack" picture, again with a relevant picture, and put up their own "attack".

Let me demonstrate:
