this is a strange request

Hello people! Well i have no idea if this can be done, and i been browsing through the net looking for topics or tutorials about this (maybe not much).

 

I want to know if is possible to give commands to the PC through the control of the TV.

 

I mean, i have a Toshiba 32L2400U and the controll of that TV has play / pause and all that things... it's possible to give commands to players like VLC through the HDMI?

 

If you don't understand what the he** i'm talking about, i get it, i don't understand myself either

No. Commands can't be sent through HDMI (they acually can, but nothing really supports it). If you want to use a remote, get an IR reciever

get the windows media center remote and an ir receiver for the best experience :D
