I upgraded from HD 2000 to the GT 630 I have now and it's a considerable upgrade over the i-GPU.

For sure but at $80 you should be able to find a 7750 on sale at NCIX. Just keep checking in. I once say a 650 Ti for about $90.

Yea I wanted one but I don't really have a chose now

I wish i got that one

I was considering the GT 620 but the GT 630 has the same 96 CUDA core GPU though clocked higher and also a wider memory bus and luckily it wasn't much more.

You should have researched a little further before buying it :P

Anyway it'll be a noticeable improvement over HD 2000 anyway so you should be good.

As much as I like NVIDIA, I would say the 7750 would have been faster than the GT 620 though I haven't used one.

Save up and get a 7770 instead. It isn arguably one of the best value cards right now next to the 7850.

What PSU is it?

Is it a decent one or a cheap generic one?

It's cheap but people have ran 7750s on it fine

It may have run them but being a cheap PSU I would consider replacing that first, I wouldn't trust it, you can get a Corsair 430w PSU for not a lot of money

A cx430 (even the modular one) can get as low as $20 after mail-in rebate.

Exactly, having a cheap generic PSU is pointless and dangerous (not for you but the PC), $20 is nothing for a decent product, also didn't think they made a modular version of the CX430.

as long as you accept you cant max games out you will be fine, you should have an improved experience over the igpu, intel isnt exactly known for good gpu's yet, i may be wrong but im guessing the pc you have is a standard hp/dell style pc, and you are not paying for the upgrades, i may be making assumptions here, but it should do you well enough, when you are in the position to spend you8r own money always go for mid range. usually the best performance per $$.
