Best DDR4 ram

Go to solution Solved by Suffokation,

so do u have a real recommendation for what I should get

The cheapest and best looking kit. RAM is RAM and they all do the same thing. Make sure its 2666MHz though as my 5820K had some issues with the 2133MHz kit of G.Skill Ripjaws. Switched to 2666MHz, popped XMP on and she overclocked well,

Make sure that you're on x99. Otherwise it won't work. (Not saying you're stupid. Just making sure.)

lol I know I'm making a x99 build :)

Good. Just making sure. Quite a few people come here looking for ddr4 to add to their machines that totally aren't x99.

Looks goood. You might wanna get 4X4 as opposed to 2X8. Itll look a little unpopulated.

oh could u answer the other question about 2666 vs 2400(more expensive?)

A 266MHz increase wont make a big difference really. If its a $5 - $10 premium go ahead and get it,
