hello, so a while ago i created a topic asking if i did hit the silicon lottery with a sapphire r9 280x that hit 1300 mhz on core and 1700 mhz on memory.

i went again to overclock (and i used heaven benchmark to see if it was stable), because i wanted to know if i could get anything more out of it.

the reason i went to overclock it is because i got a newer card later on, (gtx titan black) and the 280x got put in my closet. i decided to see how far could i push it and it did not matter if the card broke.

here is my results......

im scared to death to push it any further. if i push any further, is there a chance to break not only the card, but my entire system?

thank you. (and yes, the overclock is stable)

tl;dr: i pushed my 280x to 1500 mhz on core and 1800 mhz on memory, could this break my entire system if i push any further?

What are load temps?? If they aren't like over 90C it should be fine.

load temps are around 85-87C

i am very scared as i  never saw a 280x overclock this far.

well, either the readings are incorrect because of outdated monitoring software, or you have a golden chip...

1500MHz, thats 50% OC right?? thats more like a diamond chip then ;)

just to make 100% sure, can you download the latest version of gpuz (i think its 0.8.2) and screenshot the max values in the sensors tab ?
