Good pair? 780 and an i7 4790k

Great combination. Pretty much 60 FPS Ultra everything at 1080p.

I plan on paring a GTX 780 superclocked with an i7 4790K, both will be water cooled and slightly overclocked.

they a good pair? or would there be botlte-necking from one or the other? im looking to upgrade to a titan or an SLI setup later on.

That's what I'm running.

Upgrading to the original Titan would do absolutely nothing except provide additional VRAM (for gaming that is), and that's where the GTX 780 6GB exists. The i7 should not bottleneck the 780.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
