Force Youtube 30fps

oliverjrose99

Hi

I'm not sure if this is the right section but is there any way to force youtube to do 30fps in firefox for both 1080p and 720p as my laptop is a potato. I dont mind installing a plugin but dont want a seperate program.

Thanks

I thought that it was only Google Chrome that did 60fps in 720p and 1080p videos and that firefox was still using 30fps.

Also I am unsure if there is a way to force it unless you watch in a lower resolution like 480p.

Don't click the 720p60 or 1080p60 setting in Youtube. The rest should automatically be 30.

I think it was a recent update that added support for 60fps or it could be because im using the html5 player.

Thanks, that works.
