My PC won't turn on. I was using my PC earlier and it suddenly turned itself off and it won't turn on. My Mobo LEDs turn on normally but it won't turn on.

Little fact:

To Turn on my PC, I usually have to hold down the power button a few seconds and then fiddle with the PSU switch by turning it on and off for the system to power up.

Specs:

PSU: Corsair AX650
Mobo: Z87 Deluxe
CPU: i5 4670k

GPU: 660ti

How old is this PC?

Maybe contact Corsair, see if they will get a replacement for you.

Corsair has one of the best customer services out, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I had a similar problem with my psu. What happened with mine is the fan wasnt spinning which was not cooling the psu and caused it to shut down due to heat. If you have a pet like a dog or cat and they shed. Pet hair can cause problems with the psu. You can try to send it back or get a new one

I would just get a new one if you were having issues with the switch. Thats a bummer tho .. corsairs are usually reliable.

not really a problem with the switch. i think i messed up the wording. i have to hold down the power button for a few seconds and i usually have to turn on and off the power supply using the switch to turn on my PC. kind of weird but it works. now it just wont turn on after it shut down on me earlier.

Have you tried shorting the power pins on the mobo to turn on?
