Hello world (And space),

 

I was thinking to build a gaming PC on bellowing specs :

 

Motherboard : ASUS A88X-Gamer

CPU : AMD A6-6400K APU

GPU : ASUS Radeon R9 270 DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5

RAM :  Kingston HyperX Fury 1600Mhz 4GBx2

PSU : Cooler Master G550M 550W Power Supply

HDD : WD Green 2TB

 

So how do you thing? Answer as neat as possible OK. :) 

I have also read about my CPU/APU is bottleneck :blink: .

I have also read about my CPU/APU is bottleneck :blink: .

If you're going the A6-6400k APU road, might aswell get a Pentium G3258.

 

Cant find a price for the motherboard but looking at Amazon UK, its around 90 euros.

I agree with Comessy. Grab the Pentium G3258 + B85 Motherboard. And up that GPU to at least a 270x. Try for a R9-285.

Maybe I'm just a scrub but why an apu with a gpu?

I think the OP is aiming for a budget build and likely overlooked the Pentium G3258.
