My extremely outdated EVGA 750i SLI motherboard is finally on its way out, so I've decided it's time to move on and get with the times. I've been looking around at a few different options and was leaning towards an EVGA z97 FTW, however have seen a few pretty negative reviews out there on this board.

So, here's my dilemma:

- I have very little experience with anyone but EVGA. The few times I've had warranty issues they've been fantastic with support so I've never considered other options.

- I'm working on a somewhat limited budget as I have a 5 month old and well, diapers aren't cheap.

- I've been running on a very outdated chipset so I honestly don't know which direction to go.

Can you give me some suggestions on a board to start my upgrade path? I use the computer for mild video and picture editing (camtasia and Photoshop CC), and also play some pretty non-intense games (WoW, Heroes of the Storm). I know AMD is the budget friendly way to go, but I'd rather spend a little extra and go with Intel. Aesthetics aren't SUPER important, however I prefer right angle SATA ports. I would also prefer an ATX board, no true reasoning, just a preference. My budget for the board is $150 USD, if it's less than that, great!

Thanks in advance!

Alright.. I think I've narrowed it down to two choices but I'm having a hard time deciding between the two.
