Hello ppl, need help with my "crappy monster PC".

Specs:

ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0

AMD Phenom II X4 850 3.3 GHz

16GB ram (don't remember make of them, but 4 sticks)

4x500 GB WD Black HDD running Raid 5

2Tb Seagate (for storage)

2x AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6790 (different brands)

800W PSU

 

Soft:

Win 7 SP1 x64

Radeon RAMDisk

+ different crap

 

Well problem is the it lags, i run disk checks (no errors found), ram check - clean too... Anyone can hlp solve this?

P.S. any additional info available

like the user above me said, back up what you need to a spare HD, then reinstall win7. helps if you have an SSD instead. that will make stuff hella faster.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.
