so i turned on my pc, but instead of the usual mobo splash screen, it like had the background of the bios and uefi dualbios on text on top. then it restarted. abouy 2 seconds it turned off and started again. now i am in windows. can somebody explain this?

Must be a bios glitch? Try to update your motherboard, if that does not work then try to clear CMOS.

Must be a bios glitch? Try to update your motherboard, if that does not work then try to clear CMOS.

Clearing CMOS won't do anything but forget his settings.

Some motherboards have an option to boot with a full screen logo or with the P.O.S.T data.

What motherboard do you have?

i have a gigabyte z87 ud3h. no new programs installed. now monitor lost signal after loading windows and went back to the welcome screen. can the mobo be faulty? 1 time i had the bios go crazy. options going up and down for no reason.

try to update/reinstall bios if you can

maybe your bios chip is iffy, if this keeps happening often RMA your board
