PSU DEAD?

OK, i have this old dell optiplex 780 Ultra compact pc, and i pulled it out of storage thinking i would install the windows 10 technical preview on it and i boot it up and it goes to the bios.

 

It booted the first time and said "no hdd or bootable media" or somthing like that and then i remembered, i took the hdd out, so i get the hdd ready to put in my pc and i try and boot it again and now it shows no signs of power to my system.

 

I have tried everything to get it to boot but nothing works, any ideas??

id like to do the paper clip test but i dont know how on this particular psu, doesnt have a standard 24 pin mobo connector

 

i can only see a 4pin and an 8 pin

Some Dell systems have a button and a light beside the power cord on the back of the machine. If there is this button, your system has has a BIST (Built In Self Test). Here is a Dell Support video on that:
