anyone down to play Supreme Commander forged alliance?, or the non-expansion game? 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

theres a huge community still on forged alliances. its a fairly cheap game now, and still one of the golden standards for RTS games.

It's #2 on the list of games I plan on picking up. Getting it next time it goes on sale for sure!

I do I play with my friend sometimes. I got the second SC played a ton then he told me to get the first ones and I never really went back to the second.

God I love forged alliance :D

I've had the SC II downloaded and been playing it occasionally but I went back and redownloaded Forged Alliance a couple weeks ago and I remembered how much better it was. Especially the economy. I always wondered why they got rid of it and went to such a standard system for SC II. Too bad I don't really play multiplayer :P

I also remembered why I disabled air units in every game. AI is so friggin annoying with it. Not hard to deal with, or great at air, just annoying. Which isn't what I want when I play for fun lol

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

we got a good hour and a half to play then. enough for 1 - 2 games :)

Attempting to set that up now.

its very easy, just download the program from their website, then specify where your game folder is.
