USB - Turn power off while PC is off.

Go to solution Solved by Senzelian,

It should be in the Bios power menu.

So, I wanted to quicky inform you.

It did work. I went into the bios into the advanced mode.

From there on to the ARP options.

Then I enabled ERP (S4 and S5 whatever that means) and restarted my PC.

Now, when I turn my system off, the LEDs also turn off after a few seconds.

Thanks for your help :)

Hey,

not really sure how I could explain that better in the title :P

Anyway, I bought a LED strip for my desk which connects via USB 2.0
I want it to automatically turn off when I shut down my PC, which it does not right now.
I guess there might be an option in the bios. But before I look around there I might aswell just ask before anything bad happens

There is no way that I know of to turn it off other than adding in a switch to the circuit or directly pluging it out.

There must be a way. I just found out that disabling EUP-ready in the BIOS would turn off the USB ports when the computer is shut down.

Now I just have to find out how to turn it off.
