Ethernet problem

So I plug the ethernet cable into my PC and my pc dosen't give me the option for ethernet like the one downstairs? I have a network card installed in my pc which picks up the wireless connection but wired connection is always better for gaming. So what do I do to get ethernet up and running? I disabled onboard lan controller in BIOS to get wireless connection up and running would that affect ethernet option thanks :)

CPU: FX8350  GPU:  Sapphire radeon r9 290x Tri-X  Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P  RAM:  Corsair Vengence 1866mhz 8GB  PSU: Corsair CX750M

 

HDD:  Western Digital Caviar blue 1TB  SSD:  120Gb Samsung 850 Evo

Well YES the LAN port is the thing that controls your ethernet connection! You definitely need to turn that on.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

I have done many worse things in my time o3o
