Network Difficulties

I am helping out a friend setup one of his laptops which i just assisted in getting from windows 8 64 bit to windows 7 64 bit. Once we finished installing windows, we needed to get the network drivers for it. The laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad W530. Ive searched many links on google looking for this wifi driver (He doesnt have an ethernet cable for the router) and found a driver called "Ericsson H5321gw/F5521gw Mobile Broadband Driver" which leads to a download called "G12011WW.exe" So i downloaded this, put it on a memory stick for him via teamviewer and told him to install it. After he installed it, it still picked up no networks, giving the error: "No connections are available." and when troubleshooted, "Troubleshooting did not identify the problem."

If anyone knows what one must do to get the wifi driver or to get its wifi working, it would be much appreciated.

After searching through a few hundred more links, i found the correct drivers for windows 7 64 bit. Was tough because the drivers all on lenovos website are for the laptops original windows 8, so i had to find windows 7 ones

It actually turned out to be from a lenovo system update application. None of the millions i found online for it ended up working except for the lenovo app. But thanks a million for taking your time to reply
