Good $2000 Canadian Gaming/Video Editing Build

So I've designed a build that I think is suitable for 1080p gaming, recording, and rendering video, but I'm not entirely sold on my parts, and as such i'd like suggestions, comments, or recommendations, preferably within my $2000 Canadian budget. But before you make any changes, make sure it fits into my budget.

PCPartPicker part list: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/QJZDFT

Price breakdown by merchant: http://ca.pcpartpick...FT/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($417.25 @ shopRBC) --Solid 4 core with hyperthreading for enhanced Video Editing capabilities, and as games become more advanced, hyperthreading will become even more invaluable.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($33.98 @ DirectCanada) --Solid cheap CPU cooler, works incredibly well, I would've preferred watercooling, but I hear this is almost as good for >20% of the cost of a good water cooler.

Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($159.99 @ DirectCanada) --Just a good overall motherboard, supports overclocking and SLI/Crossfire.

Memory: Mushkin Blackline 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($158.98 @ Newegg Canada) --Just a reputable 16Gigs of ram to speed up my video rendering times and just being helpful for everything.

Storage: Crucial BX100 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($119.98 @ DirectCanada) --Boot drive and essential program the require the speed of an SSD.

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($64.95 @ Vuugo) --Steam Drive, for things that don't require an SSD's level of speed, but need slightly higher speeds than normal HDD's.

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($89.98 @ DirectCanada) --Mass Media/Main Storage drive, good for the money.

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card  ($414.98 @ DirectCanada) --One of, if not the best 970's on the market, perfect for 1080p gaming, and great for the money in all the benchmarks I've seen.

Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.99 @ NCIX) --Nice case on the smaller side, although it's still a mid tower.

Power Supply: Rosewill Capstone 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($103.98 @ Newegg Canada) --Solid power supply from a very reliable OEM (Super Flower) and allows room for SLI in the future.

Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard  ($174.98 @ DirectCanada) --Solid keyboard, pairs with the mouse for full RGB compatibility, would've preferred Cherry MX Blues, but I wanted the full RGB capabilities.

Mouse: Corsair M65 RGB Wired Laser Mouse  ($79.98 @ DirectCanada) --Well reviewed mouse, was going to go for the Logitech G502 but I wanted the full RGB compatibility to pair with the keyboard, and not that much more expensive.

Headphones: Kingston HyperX Cloud Pro Headset  ($78.98 @ DirectCanada) --Simply one of the best budget gaming headsets, mic's not great but it is detachable so I can always get a good mic later.

Total: $1988.00

Cheapest way to get 16gb in Canada at the moment is to get these 4 matching sticks separately. I think the 230T is a nicer case, has good airflow, and you can double the internal flow by adding 3 more fans. I changed the storage layout to two matching 1TB drives which you can put into RAID 0 for faster reads and writes. No point buying what is a marginally faster drive (and I'm not sure the Caviar Blue is faster), when you can double the speed by RAIDing them. I put the Strix 970 in there just as an option. If it was me I'd probably also go with the Gigabyte card too, just wanted to show you that you can save a few $ if you so choose. Other than that, $100 off.

@CNGaming38 Your build is good.

I just mucked around beefing up your storage a bit... but sacrificing your fancy RGB backlighting for plain white:

If you are willing to lose your multiplier stepping (overclocking), you could go with a Xeon.  It is just like an i7 clock for clock, you just can't overclock as easily.

Fully modular.

The cables on the Capstone that aren't modular are the ones that will be used. Makes no difference whether they are modular or not. That's hardly an equitable exchange for a more expensive and less quality PSU.

He said CAD not USD and we all know that USD > CAD, it would cost him a fortune to get an x99

Not really, I can make an x99 build for <$2000 Canadian, but I do have to sacrifice a little quality on the other parts. As an example:
