well, according to newegg they both have the same CL (10), which means the only incompatibility is the speeds, which really isn't a problem. They'll both run at the lowest speed of the two, which would be 1600.

you just need to manually set the RAM match the speed

 

or it will do the clocking by itself

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Why would you want to mix them anyway? If it's colour you're looking for, Corsair have a blue variant of their Vengeance RAM.

 

Generally the RAM will automatically drop down to the slowest speed in the configuration, so that shouldn't be an issue. It'll run at 1600.

I already have the corsair, and I got the other for only 10$
