Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this monitor

I'm looking for a 1080p 60hz monitor for gaming and i really want to try IPS (So long as it is good for gaming) and was wondering if anyone knows if that is a decent one and/or if AOC is decent (usually I stick with asus but i really don't want 75hz refresh cuz tearing when mirroring to my tv and in games that lock to 60 sucks)

thanks for any info you can provide. :)

I have a few aoc monitors, I have three of their slim bezel models but i would imagine the ips panel they use is either similar or the same. Stands are pretty crappy they wobble with obscene ease which for a single monitor user can get annoying, since i have three they support each other with the help of my speakers on each side. I think they look fantastic but not the greatest build quality in the world.

and i just noticed in the specs on newegg that the refresh rate is 75. but glad to hear that the display quality is good on AOC monitors. honestly wobble doesn't surprise me that is a very common complaint with monitors around the 200.00 price point

edit: they list the refresh rate as 60 however the vertical refresh goes from 50-76hz, am i missing something here? lol

A lot of 60Hz monitors can go to 75Hz if you lower the resolution to 800x600 or so. But not at max resolution.

Even if it was so, you can always set any 75Hz monitor to 60Hz anyway, you don't HAVE to run it at 75Hz.

i've tried setting my asus monitor to 60hz in windows and it still had rampant screen tearing in games locked at 60 with vsync on (like wolfenstein new order) maybe i'm just doing it wrong
