Using Cool N Quiet while overclocked (FX 8320)

Turn it on. If it's still stable, then no problem. If it crashes/reboots/fails to post, then turn it off.

 

I've never had an issue with Cool N' Quiet being enabled with my OC's.

Hey guys, 2 quick questions -

 

Cool and Quiet is the setting that allows my CPU to downclock when idle yes?

 

Can I re-enable that now I have a stable overclock?

 

For reference : 4.5Ghz @ 1.39v using a h80i (55c max core temp)

Gonna give it a try now with prime95
