You talking about this board? I think it's not possible (stock intel heatsink only just fits). I'd go for the H100. I built a couple of systems using that board in a Prodigy and I can say that board is awesome :)

About the GPU cooler: I did both and both were perfectly fine. If you're worried about casetemps just throw a few (or one big) fan(s) in the front and you should be fine.

For example the following system (one of them Prodigy builds I did) has

  • intel 3570k
  • XFX 6870 DD with two fans
