With 2 way sli you'll get stable 4k/60fps, with 3 way you'll get the same and maybe more fps, 4 way is just overkill but darn it looks cool!

3 and 4 way sli actually work better at higher resolutions but that's my own experience, I can play at lower resolutions but I get more problems than if I just 1up the resolution.
