Linux usb

So I got a new pc and how do I create a usb I can plug in to get Linux on it I know there is probably a guide on here but I can't find it.

Well if you have another computer to create the bootable USB with then I would say:

 

1. Go download the .iso file for the version of linux you would like

2. Go to http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/and download that to create the bootable USB.

3. Follow the steps on that program.

4. Plug the USB into your PC and set it to boot from that and install linux.
