The specs are as follows:

 

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

CPU: Intel i3 2100 @3.1GHz

GPU: MSI GTX 560

Storage: Some shitty 500gb Toshiba Hard Drive

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB)

Motherboard: Intel DH67CL Desktop Board

PSU: Corsair CX600

Others: Samsung Blu-ray Optical Drive // 2x 120mm Cooler Master fans // USB WiFi adapter

 

I told him he could just sell some of the parts individually since the RAM and Power Supply are still pretty good, but he insisted he wanted to sell it as a whole.

I would say somewhere in the price range you specified seems fair.

im going to say $700 seeing that my friend sold his 4130 gtx 650 system for 500

 

be patient and wait for good offers

 

Were not in the same region man, he spent like $650 all new parts when he bought it :P

 

Maybe somebody will buy it for like $500, who knows.

$300-$350 is reasonable.

he could get 350 from a knowledgeable buyer, but im sure he could nickel and dime some noob who doesnt know how much its worth. 

There is that to consider as an option.
