HELP! Looking for a Graphics Card Under $300

I am incompetent when it comes to purchasing the best GPUs in budget so I was wondering if you wodnerful people would have any ideas.

        -My budget is about $250(USD)

        -I render 3D animations and game/record in 1080p most of the time

        -I currently have a Nvidia GeForce GT 630

For that budget, R9 290 is your best bet, if you have a capable PSU to run it.

Thanks for all of the responses! I think I'll go for the Powercolor instead of MSI. It was between those two because I plan to get a second monitor eventually. Really great forum, thanks everybody!
