So what should i do after i get my OS installed in my new system? do i install an anti virus and then install all my drivers? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

install driver for internet

then install the drivers and system level updates like ,net

then install programs

then install av

Always install AV first, ideally have it on a USB so you don't have to connect the machine to the net, you would be amazed how fast Virus's can get on unprotected machines, I have in the past been setting up a laptop it was connected for 3 mins before it got a virus.

Yea not too invasive, the paid service looks quiet good and once a year it talks like a pirate!
