Hey guys so I've been getting confused lately. The haswell refresh is the same thing as haswell e correct ? Also what is Devils caynon? And how does that compare to haswell ? Thanks

Devil's Canyon = Codename for Haswell Refresh

 

The Haswell-E processors are a different line of processors for a different platform (X99).

Okay I see so Devils canyon ( haswell refresh) is still z97 correct and the haswell e cpu are x99 with ddr4 correct ?

Devil's Canyon = 4690K and 4790K ONLY

Haswell Refresh = 4690K and 4790K AND a couple of other CPUs, such as Celeron G1840, Pentium G3258, i3-4150 and i5-4590

 

Haswell E = LGA2011-3 chips, 5820K, 5930K and 5960X.

They all use the same architecture yes.

 

Haswell = Haswell

Devils Canyon = Haswell refresh (same architecture)

Haswell-E = Modified Haswell architecture (DDR4, PCIe Lanes, etc)
