Alright, so simple issue, but seems like an impossible fix for me. I'm running Win7, and starting a few months ago I have not been able to add new peripherals or anything to my computer. The driver software just doesn't install. I've tried everything- trying old drivers, getting them from online from various websites, even doing system restore. Nothing. Just says "failed to install driver software". Which sucks, because I have a new $70 mouse collecting dust in the closet... Any help?
