Hey,

I worked all day long on my pc and in the evening I was playing a bit NFS carbon and suddenly a screen like this appeared: http://notebook-reparieren.de/gfx/reparatur_hummer/3.jpg

And the entire PC didn't respond.

After that I had to hard reset my PC and during boot I get green and red lines in the middle of my LCD display and the Logon screen won't show up. So I guess my graphicscard broke out of nothing. Great.

Any idea how to fix it?

Sounds like a GPU issue, What are your computer specs? Have you done any driver upgrades recently?.

Nope I didn't. It came out of no where.

Check the rear connectors though.

Tried 4-5 different cables and with each DVI port. I guess GPU broke.

I will never get a XFX AMD card ever again.

To be fair a card that requires RMA can happen on both Nvidia and AMD. You are just unlucky...

I can't. I got no packaging left and no bill and nothing. Someone threw it in the trash.

Sucks man :( I always keep the boxing and recipt in case such things happen :P It looks like your GPU is kill my mate had the same thing on a desktop with an oldish 6950. This only happens in games or does it happen in general.
