I've been saving up for quite a long time now and I'd really like to build my own PC. I have around £600ish but would like to leave £100 or so for monitor and basic peripherals. The budget for the PC itself is around £500. Would like it to be micro atx for space reasons. I was thinking about something like a Pentium G3258 + z97 mobo (for future upgradeability) + a 280 (or something like that) but would like to see what other people are thinking. I can buy second hand parts from cex, such as Pentium K for like £30, but would prefer to buy new if it could give a decent build. For the last 1-2 years I've been using my laptop (with integrated graphics) and I sometimes play games such as tf2 but my laptop can't really handle more than that - When I build the computer

I'd like to be able to play game like war thunder or warframe at 1080p on reasonable settings.

Sorry if I rambled too much or left something out  ;) and thanks in advance!

If I was you, I would go with a AMD APU.  But if you're really dedicated to Intel, grab a i5-4670k or something similar and use the onboard graphics for a while.  Once you get $200 or so, grab you a video card then.  You'll be much more pleased.

If you want a actual build recommendation send me a message.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Just saying the 280x for £130 is out of stock (I've been hoping they restock it), so i may drop the SSD and then add as a future upgrade

So it is, I'd personally recommend getting a 256GB SSD first then getting a harddrive later as adding the SSD later can be quite a headache.
I've edited in a 280 that is in stock, the SSD can be swapped for a 2TB barracuda if you'd prefer to go that route.

Do not play games such as War Thunder and World of tanks on an AMD processor. They dont work so well with those games.

Im so patriotic, I piss red white and blue. My doctor told me it was pancreatic cancer, I told him to SHUT HIS COMMIE MOUTH.
