Hi all

I recently put together a build with a GTX 770 and a I5 4670K.

I played CS GO for like 2 hrs with no problems at all. But when I loaded World of Tanks, my computer just completely shuts down and everything turns off. Then it turns back on and the stops again. Then I have to wait like 1 minute before I can turn it back on again. I removed all the mods I installed and selected the lowest possible settings I could to see if the crash was gonna happen. It happened again and here I am typing to you guys. I am not sure what the problem is so please help me!

Hmmm ... Interesting ...

From what you have mentioned in your post. I could only come out with a conclusion. Somehow, something in your system is wrong somewhere and therefore you have encounter what you encountered ...

Jokes aside, what;s the temp on your CPU and GPU while playing WoT? Do you have any spare parts around of borrow from friends? You could slowly swap out those parts (example GPU, PSU and etc) and then you will roughly know what's wrong.

Spoiler

Usually when it's not GPU or CPU temp, its the PSU. Seldom would be mobo although there is a chance as well. What PSU you are using?

Why not you list down all your specs so that everyone here can help you.

I can second the psu. Afted trying nearly everything to diagnosis what was causing my friend's computer to keep shutting off (and replacing the hdd and ram in the process), putting in my psu helped. Funny thing, his Ultra 1000w psu was worse than his 650w Fractal Integra (what we bought on cleanance and fixed the problem for good).

I just downloaded HWMonitor. All my temperatures average 35 degress. I don't think the problem is overheating.

When you game or while hanging on desktop? Because idle temps don't matter at all. But this clearly screams to be PSU issue or other power delicery related problem. For fun of it, check all power connectors.

list what PSU you got there

the sudden shutdown of the PC clearly points to poor PSU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
