It's easy to uninstall it...just do it through add or remove programs.

If you aren't comfortable Geek Squad will do it for no charge even if you didn't buy the machine there.

 

Keep in mind, not all Lenovo machines have Superfish either!

To check if its still there, go to a bank site, and click the green bar in the url bar. This will show the certificate, if it says superfish, its still there

Its very easy to remove, i would not let that hold you back

They stopped shipping laptops with it in the end of 2014, and it was only on certain models anyway
